• This grant will cover 50% of the approved training costs up to $1,200 per year, significantly reducing your out-of-pocket expenses.

For CLP participants, the MWDC provides a streamlined method to fund either your initial certification or your annual recertification fees and training requirements.

The CLP program has worked directly with the MWDC to simplify the process, embedding the funding mechanism directly into the registration process:

• Direct Discount at Registration: The CLP program offers a direct discount on certification and recertification fees, 50% off for loggers who "Opt-in" to the Maine Workforce Development Compact at the time of RSVP. This immediately reduces the cost to the participant.
